Combative Wrestling was UWW's attempt to get into the MMA market. If you pad wrestlers in striking gear and tell them, no biting, or pokeing, and put them on a mat, you can expect some crazy battles. These images were taken in 2011 with an old 70-200 lens mounted on a Nikon D-300. The natural light that came in the windows near the ceiling added nice highlights to the images.
